Bonjour à tous, pour ceux qui auraient lu mon message antérieur et ainsi ma déception face à la critique de télérama, voici la fin de l'histoire. J'ai envoyé ma critique de la critique à son auteur, M. Ekchazjer, et celui ci, tout à son honneur, a pris le temps de me répondre, en parfaite cohérence avec lui-même. Je publie ici son message. Cher lecteurs, querido publico, dear audience. Me voici à nouveau de retour en France, après cette fois un séjour de 12 jours à découvrir la ville de Vancouver, ses environs, et son festival latino, qui m'avait généreusement invité à présenter mon film. Je reviens chargée d'images colorées et émouvantes, suscitées autant par la nature spectaculaire de la ville et des montagnes qui la cernent, que par la rencontre avec un public canadien et latino avec qui nous avons pu faire une nouvelle fois un échange de ressentis, de vécus et d'expériences parfois douloureuses, mais profondes. Je tiens à remercier les organisateurs du festivals qui se sont mis en quatre pour faire de ce séjour une expérience inoubliable, objectif largement atteint. La première présentation du film a eu lieu à la cinémathèque Pacific, sur Howe St, le dimanche 17 septembre. Bonjour chers lecteurs, excusez-moi de ne pas avoir écrit davantage ces derniers temps, le travail intense des derniers semaines avant mon départ de Sydney ne me donnaient pas beaucoup d'occasion de mettre à jour ce journal cybernétique. Secretos de Lucha en el XXVI festival cinematográfico internacional del Uruguay Viernes 28 de MARZO, 2008 Secretos de Lucha, el documental de 85 minutos realizado por la franco-uruguaya Maiana Bidegain, se presentará el domingo 30 de marzo por última vez en Montevideo, en el ámbito del festival cinematográfico internacional del Uruguay. La película ganadora del premio al mejor documental en el festival de Biarritz, y del premio del Público en el festival de películas de Historia de Pessac, (Francia) se presentará en el domingo 30 de marzo, 20h, en Cinemateca, Sala Dos, Lorenzo Carnelli 1311. Secretos de Lucha no tiene por ahora distribución en Uruguay, por lo que por ahora no hay ninguna otra fecha programada para una nueva presentación en Montevideo o el resto del país. Queridos todos, ayer fue con gran emocion para mi, y tambien he de decir muchos nervios, que tuvo lugar la primer presentación de Secretos de Lucha en Montevideo, en el cuadro del festival cinematográfico internacional del Uruguay, organizado por Cinemateca. Mañana tendrá lugar la segunda proyección, en Pocitos, Chucarro 1036, a las 22h, y el domingo en Cinemateca, lorenzo carnelli, sala dos, a las 20h. Vinieron mas de 200 personas a esta primer presentación en la capital Uruguaya. Estaban tambien algunos miembros de la familia, y algunos miembros del equipo que participó a la realización del documental en Uruguay (Rodrigo Borda, Santiago Delucca). Para mi, esta presentación era sumamente importante porque era la primera vez que me iba a encontrar de frente con el público uruguayo en el paisito. Hello everybody, well, here I am back in Sydney after 3 days in Melbourne during the latin film festival. It was a great pleasure for me to go back to this town that I still don't know very well, having visited it only a couple of times before, and each time it was only for a couple of days. I really need to thank Leandro, the director of the film festival, who invited me over, and also many other members of the organization who were all as sweet: Fabiola, Gabriela, Nicola,Tristan and Carlos. Opening night was very nice, with a band playing after the projection, and last night a nice opportunity to dance a bit of salsa and cumbia, together with members of the audience and festival public. Yesterday also was the screening of Secretos, the premiere in Australia, and it was again a fantastic encounter with the audience. Thank so much to all of you who came. Hello everyone So here we go, another trip to the other side of the world. This time I land in Sydney again, where in mid March Secretos de Lucha is going to be screened for the first time in the Latino sydney film festival, in the club Marconi. Next week, on march the 1st, it's going to be screened in the Melbourne latino film festival. I will be there to meet the audience and answer any questions about the film. Since last message, I had the luck to screen the film in a high-school in Angoulême, and also during a lovely evening in Avignon. God this town is magnificent! The encounter with the public was very interesting as well, and I really have to thank here Jean François Grima and Françoise from the association Contraluz who organized the screening, together with the managers of the cinema Utopia in Avignon. Hello everyone! Happy new year to all of you who come and visit this blog. I know I have been a bit slack of late, but I have hardly been in the same town for more than 2 weeks, and as everybody knows, it can get quite hard to sit down and write when your mind keeps thinking about your next move. So we showed Secretos in Paris, on January 10th. It was a great emotion for me, seeing a full house for the screening at 8pm. Many Uruguayans, some members of my family, some friends, lots of people i didn't know, but who took part in a very warm debate after the screening. Thanks again for coming, I hope I will soon have another opportunity to attend a screening like this one in Paris.
